Ultraviolet (UV) radiation is a form of light energy coming from the sun. The sun emits a series of energy known as the electromagnetic spectrum. Different forms of energy are classified according to their wavelength. The shortest wavelength radiation is the most energetic. UV radiation is classified into three categories: UV-A between 320-400 nm, UV-B between 280-320 nm and UV-C between 200-280 nm.
